What's up gamers,

I know it's already the new year over on the east coast, but It's still 2023 where I am, so I'm still doing the recap!

WHAT HAPPENED THIS YEAR?

Well, the biggest thing was that I started posting my animations online, which was a pretty big step for me. I'm a bit of a scaredy cat when it comes to uploading things online, so seeing something that took me weeks to make available for anyone to see made me shit myself just a little bit. The best part of it has definitely been the incredibly nice reception to the toons I've made so far, everyone has been really kind, and if not kind then super constructive. I've also been continuing to draw whatever interests me at the moment, but have been trying to get a better balance between art and animation.

My favorite thing I made this year has to be my PhantomArcade fan animation. It was my first time making something like that, and it took me around a month to make. Seeing people enjoying it, and even Dave himself seeing it, was super exciting, and I'm for sure gonna be making more things like that in the future.

Also! shoutout to the dankmen drawing I made, since it released and has been swindled from me, I've had to sell half of my possessions just to remain afloat, but I'm glad everyone liked it!

WHAT'S HAPPENING NEXT YEAR?

Next year I'm planning on going way harder with animation. I'm actually a good bit through the next one, and was planning on getting it done this month, but oh well! There are still gonna be the usual stuff, but the main idea is to just do more stuff.

I'm gonna finish this up by once again thanking Newgrounds for being the coolest place on the internet. There is no other community online I'd rather be a part of! The amount of creativity and passion I see on here everyday always astounds me. Keep being fuckin' awesome, NG.
